MASSACHUSETTS CITY & TOWN HALLS

I have been involved with town governments in one capacity or another since 1989, and have worked in 3 different Town Halls since 1995. Having had the ability to tour the state has been fascinating and visiting every city and town has been a great experience. In addition to my interests in fire apparatus and stations, I have a special interest in the buildings that host the operations of all 351 municipalities in the Commonwealth. While my photography skills probably won't be the subject of a Museum of Fine Arts exhibit, here you will be able to view the many unique buildings where government happens in this state. The great Tip O'Neil once said that all politics is local, so here is where local politics reside!

As of November 6, 2005, I visited ALL 351 of the cities and towns in the Commonwealth

to take the photos you find here. In addition, every fire station and most every piece

of fire apparatus in Rhode Island is featured here as well.

I hope you enjoy the site, and by all means please feel free to drop an

e-mail my way if  you spot an error, omission, want to set up a photo shoot

of your department's vehicles, or simply want to say hello.

MassFireTrucks.Com is based in Bellingham, MA and is a collection of photos of fire apparatus, ambulances and

Fire Stations of all types from across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and beyond! It is always a work

in progress as vehicles are added and replaced all the time. This site will make the effort to keep updated

on any fleet changes.

Unless otherwise noted on the photo, all photos were photographed by me, Michael Boynton, and for the most

part have been collected since the summer of 2003. Thank you for visiting and check back often!

A huge thank you goes out to all the firefighters, fire officers and fire chiefs who have been so cooperative

and accommodating in making all these vehicles available to be photographed. And, most importantly, I want

to thank my wife Donna who has not only supported this hobby, but has accompanied me on (or is that endured)

most of these picture expeditions. You are the best!!

these photos, please forward your request via the e-mail link above.)
