Tragedy has again called upon Worcester Fire. FF Christopher Roy has made the Supreme Sacrifice battling a fire this morning.

And it hurts badly...not one, but everyone. A Family, a Department,

a City, a Region, and especially a profession whose single mission is to help others in their time of need.

The normal and expected outcomes are typically positive. But, this morning our friends in Worcester and across the

Fire Service are dealing with the worst case and are grieving for one of their own. It is not supposed to be this way.

May God bless this fallen hero, his family, the Worcester Fire Department, and all firefighters who do their

jobs every single day in the face of dangers that the rest of us could never fathom in our jobs.

RIP Christopher, and please know that your memory will always live on in the most positive way.
